Let Valerie Fanarjian guide you in discovering the art in your world.  This class speaks to people who have the need to create, but who have not yet unleashed their "artistic voice."  Beginners will be inspired, while others will find new approaches to add to their repertoire.

We will reinvent the way we think about art. 

Disregarding the conventional methods of drawing and painting, we will have an art experience.

Eliminating the emphasis on product, and concentrating more on the process of creating; the ultimate act of pleasure.

Various mediums will be used to make mixed media pieces.  I will introduce various multiple image making methods I have learned as well as those I have invented myself. 

As time allows, we will create our own decorated papers, from ones we have collected in our travels.... discarded love letters, collection notices, maps or menus, combining them with watercolor and other mediums, to produce a piece that has intrinsic personal value, as well as being visually satisfying.

We will find inspiration comes from many unlikely places.
