Meeting at NAI

Naregatsi Art Institute hosted the meeting entitled "Sunshine" with psychologist and writer Marine Manukyan.

The event honored the heroes of the four-day war, their parents, Marine Manukyan's close friends and relatives who shared their heartfelt words and told about Marine's practical, creative sides and her human kind.
-Marine Manukyan serves as a good example for us and we learn how to fight, live, create, help and to do good to the people around us, - said her friends.
The Naregatsi Art Institute had a surprise for the author at the end of the event. Pianist Lusine Grigoryan appeared unexpectedly at the event and greeted Marine Manukyan and her guests with a great performance.

- Welcome to Naregatsi. You have brought a light and bright people from Gyumri with you. There is absolutely divine light in the energy we receive from you. I do not remember the time, when I was so excited and this is the result of your mission. Our doors are always open for you, Welcome to Naregatsi,- mentioned in his speech Nareg Hartounian, the founder of the Naregatsi Art Institute.

Marine Manukyan has graduated from Gyumri PROGRESS University with honors.

In 1999, her article "The Social-Psychological Group of Spitak Earthquake Orphans" was published in the Italian and Swiss newspapers.

Her first professional book "The psychological assessment of the effects of the disaster" was published in 2008.

As a psychologist, she published numerous articles in Gyumri's weekly newspapers ''Thursday'' and ''Shrjapat'', in Yerevan ''Aravot'' Daily, in the magazine ''Soul Scream'' and in ''Vanadzor Mosaic''. She has her website: hogeban1.do.am.

Since 2011, she has been the head of the Gyumri Sports and Psychological Branch for Persons with Spinal and Other Disabilities in Armenia.

In 2012 at the 10th Paralympic Festival she took the third place in the "Hand Power" sport and became bronze medalist.

In the 4th project of the Writers' Writing Contest in Yerevan in 2013, she wrote the article "The Fate of the Blue-eyed Whims" covering the disability issues after the earthquake and won the 1st prize.

In 2017 her second professional book "Phobias" was published.

Since 2017, she has been the scriptwriter for ''Soldier and Culture'' NGO, and is writing articles about immortal and surviving heroes of the four-day war.

The manual ''Along the Traces of Destiny'' was published in 2017; she is the co-author of the manual.

From 2017 she is a psychologist, journalist of the NGO "Association for the Protection of Motherland Defenders".

Since 2018, she has been the head of the creative part of NGO "Unity of four-day war border guards''.

In 2018 was released the co-authored book "Open Brackets".
