“Regional Culture”

With the collaboration of the Ministry of Culture and Youth affairs of the Armenian Republic, the project “Regional Culture” was born at Naregatsi Art Institute. The first concert took place on the first of June, at the A. Khachatryan Music School in Charentsavan with the contribution of Hagop Shahgaldyan, the president of the municipality of Charentsavan city. The participants at this event were Lousine Manoukyan(piano), Tatevik Aghjoyan(organ), 2^nd class student & 7^th class students of A. Khachatrian Music School of Charentsavan and Lilit Khachatryan(violin) and Gayane Khachatryan (cello), 9^th class & 7^th class students of Yerevan Tchaikovsky music School.

These Talented young musicians accompanied Naregatsi Chamber Music Society members and helped in making this concert a success. The program included Bach, Albinoni, Vivaldi and Hayden.

“Regional Culture” will also be introduced in Abovyan City, and Gyumri and Vanadzor during October.

This Project includes concerts and Master Classes in different regions, in its first phase, and organizing concerts for new talents from these regions at Naregatsi Art Institute in its second phase.
