Naregatsi Film Makers Award

The Naregatsi Art Institute is pleased to announce the first Naregasti Filmmakers Award. This award seeks to encourage and reward creativity and excellence in all forms of film making by Armenian filmmakers.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

Narrative Film

Documentary

Sound & Vision

Animation

Experimental

Eligibility:

•Applicants must be of residents of Armenia have been living in Armenia for at least at  2 years.

•Applications must be received at NAI office by November 15, 2006.

•Finalists will be announced by February 1, 2007 and notified by phone and/or e-mail.

• Awards will be presented at Kino Moscow in the spring of 2007

Judging Procedures:

Films will be judged based on their originality, and individual integrity. Judging panels will be comprised of highly regarded filmmakers from Armenia and around the world.

* Films in each category may be of any duration.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

·         Applications and film submissionms may be delivered in person or mailed to Naregatsi Art Institute, Young Composers Award, Vartanants 16/1, Yerevan, Armenia

·         All submissions must be received by November 15,  2006.

·         Please only submit copies of your work.  NAI cannot be held responsible for missing materials.

·         Clearly label all submissions with your name and contact information.

·         Please note that material will not be returned.

·        Finalists will be notified by February 1, 2007.
